Yesterday we ventured into Cabo San Lucas for the afternoon and evening (we are staying in the little town of Cabo San Jose). The difference was pretty aparent the minute we stepped out of our Taxi. San Jose is a quiet little town, great little (authentic) restaurants and nice shops (all very clean and free of peddlers). Cabo San Lucas is it's polar opposite sister city. There was a guy trying to sell you something every 10 ft you walked...anything from t-shirts to stuff that you could get locked up in mexican prison for...definitely a Spring Break town. We ended up having a great dinner in the marina area after a little shopping for trinkets...Laabs & Sayre family...guess what you're getting for X-mas this year??
